Chartered in 1941, The Miami Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., has established itself as a public service organization in Miami-Dade County. The chapter serves the community through projects and programs that are aligned with the sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust and that educate and empower the community. Through DEHCI, the Chapter awards more than $ 30,000 in scholarships annually to deserving college freshmen—more than $ 350,000 in scholarships has been awarded to date. (DEHCI) is a not-for-profit organization that promotes educational, health and cultural related services and programs that enrich South Florida’s diverse communities.
