💛 Event Purpose

🐶 Dog Bite Prevention Education
Children and families will learn how to safely and respectfully interact with dogs, including understanding dog body language and safe approaches. This segment will feature Wilma’s Wags’ beloved mascot, “Dogtor Reese,” a service-dog-in-training helping teach kindness and safety.

📚 Donate-a-Book Community Drive
We will be collecting new or gently loved children’s books to support families and children experiencing hardship due to cancer. Following the event, donations will be delivered to a local children’s cancer hospital to help bring comfort, hope, and moments of joy during challenging times.

👧🐾 Kids & Pets Awareness
Families will gain insight into the emotional benefits of the human-animal bond and how responsible, compassionate pet interactions can positively shape children’s development.
