Description: Join us at Kelsey Creek Farm and paint the farm animals and/or the historic barns. There is a trail around the barn - so you will find other scenic locations to paint too (there is a bridge over the creek as well as a great view from the backside of the barns), and if it's hot, you'll find plenty of shade too! There is plenty of parking either in the lot on the north side of the park or in the neighborhood nearby. Restrooms are between the kids play area and the barns.

We will greet you from 9-10 AM by the Gazebo near the parking lot for questions.

Another option is to paint at the nearby Bellevue Botanical Gardens. There are trails from Kelsey Creek Farm to the Botanical Gardens, or you can park at the BBG entrance or at the school to the east of the Gardens. One of us will be there from 9-10 at the entrance. Restrooms are available near the entrance.

Meeting Time & Place: June 23 -9 AM.

Either at Kelsey Creek Park or Bellevue Botanical Gardens at 9 AM - 2 PM.

Mami Shimomura (206-718-6264) will be at Bellevue Botanical Gardens between 9-10 AM to answer questions.

Sue Dehmlow (425-274-5654) will be at Kelsey Creek Farm from 9-10 AM to answer questions.

Lunch plans:

Bring a sack lunch. There is a small cafe at BBG where you can get a drink and snacks.

If at Kelsey Creek, we can meet at the Gazebo at 12:30pm. If at Bellevue Botanical, meet under the shade awning near the entrance at 12:30 if sunny, otherwise by the small cafe.

PCC or Trader Joes are nearby but not within walking distance.

After lunch:

There currently aren't any plans, but you can continue painting.
