Love listening to your favorite podcasts? Why not learn to make your own! The Pavek Museum's Podcast Camp returns for the summer of 2024.
In this three-day program, campers will learn about the evolution of radio shows, which eventually brought us an explosion of podcast popularity. They will learn what makes a podcast different from a radio show, the different types of podcasts, and how to create and produce their own podcast. Each camper will create, record, and produce an original podcast episode.
Additionally, campers will get to tour a professional radio station/podcast studio - iHeartRadio! Campers will get a behind the scenes look of what goes into the podcasts they love while also learning about a career in radio and podcasting. Come discover the fun of creating your own podcast at the Pavek Museum!
June 19-21 (Wednesday - Friday)
8:30 AM - 12:00 PM each day
For 9-14 year olds
Day 1 and Day 3 will take place at the Pavek Museum. Drop off and pick up will be at the Pavek Museum.
Day 2 will be at the iHeartRadio building 4 miles away. Drop off and pick up will be at 1600 Utica Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55416.
