About this event

  • 2 hours 30 minutes

Paul J. Stankard: Flower and Flame (70 minutes) celebrates the work, wit, and wisdom of internationally acclaimed glass artist Paul J. Stankard. Paul was The Studio's first flameworking instructor in 1996, and this summer he will be the first artist to be showcased in our newest venue, the Studio Theater. Located near the new Make Your Own Glass workshops, the theater is a wonderful new space to host lectures, films, and other events.

The Studio Visitor Entrance will open at 5:30 pm and the film screening will begin at 6 pm. There will be a short Q&A session in the theater after the film, followed by a reception where guests can meet and chat with Paul and film director Dan Collins. Publications featuring the artist will be available for purchase, and Paul will be happy to sign books.

Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available after the film. Seats are limited so reserve your free tickets today!
