About this event

  • 2 hours

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) are an integral part of healthcare in the hospital setting. They support nursing by assisting patients with daily care, collecting vital signs, performing EKGs, obtaining specimens, performing pre- and post-operative care, helping with mobility and reporting changes in patient condition.

If you are fascinated with healthcare, have a high standard of excellence and would enjoy learning hands on skills in the patient care setting, please join us to learn more about the position and what SSM has to offer.

SSM is hiring patient care techs for the June cohort! SSM pays your tuition, and pays you for your clinical hours while you are completing this course.

**After the information session, there will be an opportunity for those interested to complete a basic math & reading assessment. Upon successful completion, candidates will then be allowed to apply to the college & SSM and schedule an interview and shadow opportunity before they leave.
