Deforestation and Conversion Free Commitments &amp; The Role of Policies As the clock ticks down to 2020, this is a critical moment to take stock of deforestation-free commitments that have been made by governments and businesses, and formulate what needs to happen to bring about real changes by 2020 and beyond. The event will showcase progress but also identify critical actions needed by government leaders and private sector, both on the demand and supply side, to drastically accelerate the pace of halting deforestation and eliminating ecosystem conversion.
