Path Players presents: Orphan Trains. From 1853 to 1929, The Orphan Trains Project joined adoptive parents with orphans in countless towns throughout the vast American landscape. Based on primary records from the Children's Aid Society of New York, Orphan Trains brings this compelling story of hardships and victories to life, resonating with the authentic voices of a diverse group of children.

Frequently asked questions

There are shows back-to-back ("Nora's Lost" and "Orphan Trains"). Do I need tickets for both?

Yes! If you plan to come to both shows, please reserve a ticket for each performance. We will ask the audience to exit briefly between the shows.

Tickets are free. Does it really matter if I reserve one and then don't come?

Yes! It does matter! Last year, we sold out...but had several open seats. Some people who wanted to come couldn't. So, if you can no longer use your tickets, please cancel your order or email us to let us know you can't make it!

Which door should I enter for the performance? And in which space is the show?

Please enter Door #1. The show is in the Sanctuary at Calvary.

Is this event a ministry of Calvary?

No. While several people from Calvary are involved, this is not a ministry of Calvary. Rather, this is a rental; Calvary is being gracious with letting Path Players use their space to perform our shows!

Is this show appropriate for children?

Yes, Orphan Trains is a compelling story for all ages. Of course, the entire show is about orphans and adoptions, so families with those things in their history (like mine!) should simply be aware of that.
