I want you to join me for a strategic gathering of Southern California pastors and leaders in Anaheim on August 17, 2021, as we prepare for the upcoming 2022 Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting.
The Southern Baptist Convention’s annual meeting will take place next year, June 14-15, 2022 in Anaheim. The 2022 meeting will mark the 177th anniversary of the founding of the Southern Baptist Convention. I firmly believe the more people we can mobilize to attend the annual meeting, the more people will hear the great stories of Gospel advancement happening all over America and around the world.
With that in mind, this gathering of California pastors and leaders in Anaheim on August 17, 2021, will be held at Anaheim Convention Center from 11:30am-1:30pm (Pacific Daylight Time). Please join me, SBC Pastors’ Conference President Matt Henslee, Pastor of Mayhill Baptist Church in Mayhill, NM, and SBC President Ed Litton as we share our heart with all of you to mobilize Southern Baptists to come to California from every city, county, and state across America, even from around the Globe, as we work together to reach the world for Christ. I am confident Southern Baptists will be very excited to join the churches of the California Baptist Family in focusing on your state and the opportunities for gospel advancement that exist in the most populous state in the United States of America.
