Paste Paper Workshop

Paste Paper Workshop

Overview

Immerse yourselve in a centuries-old technique of decorating paper.

Join JC artist and painter, Nancy Tompkins, for a night of art and creativity at Atacama Clay Studio! Dating all the way back to the 17th century, paste paper is a type of surface design where colored paste is applied to paper and then modified with different tools to create patterns and designs.

This workshop is beginner-friendly and includes all supplies! Participants will able to make paper they can use for card-making, collaging, and more.

Note
We'll be using water-based materials, but we advise that participants wear clothing they don't mind getting a little messy.

The venue is wheel chair accessible and we've outlined facility details below. For any other questions or requests related to accessability, please send a message or email Julie at jccraftingcircle@gmail.com.
