Paste Paper Workshop Saturday, October 12  from 11:30-4:00
Instructor: Cristina Hajosy  (Bring your lunch, drinks are provided.)
Cost: $110 class fee + $20 for materials = $130
Paste paper is one of the earliest forms of decorative arts and surface design. It’s beginnings can be seen in medieval times in the homes of Northern Europe. From wall and ceiling treatments to floor cloths, its destination to paper was inevitable. Today, it’s mainly a decorative paper technique used in bookmaking, collage and mixed media. A thick paste is tinted with acrylic paint and spread upon a dampened sheet. Texturing tools are scraped and stamped to create unique designs. You’ll be hooked on this fun, fast-paced art technique.  All levels are welcome!
