Do I need a 4WD vehicle to get there?

Accepted Answer

No.  County Road 12 is a dirt road but in decent condition.  The last two miles may be a little rocky but just go slow and you will be fine (unless you have a Corvette).  There will be PCCA signs directing you to the North London Mill.  However, a mile past the Mill the road does require 4WD.

Will there be food available?

Accepted Answer

No.  Please bring your own lunch and snacks and beverages.  Feel free to bring snacks for fellow participants ... pot luck style.

Question 3

Do I need to bring anything special?

Accepted Answer

Bring whatever supplies and/or instruments you may require.  Please bring your own chair.  You might want to bring a raincoat and/or jacket in case of weather.  Bring some hiking shoes or boots  if you want to wander around, especially near the mill remains.

Do I need a membership to NoLo to attend?

Accepted Answer

No.  However, we do encourage you to join their efforts at restoring and preserving this special place.  You can find more information at www.nolocolorado.org

Do I need to be an artist to attend?

Accepted Answer

No.  You will have a great afternoon listening to musicians jam and watch artists paint.  Or, you can bring a book and just take in the scenery and serenity.
