Parts and Processes
Shape clay and explore the mind. Join Integrated HC, Megan Allen, and Amanda Riding for an afternoon of pottery and an intro to IFS therapy!
Join us at Parts and Processess!
The Experience
As therapists, you spend your days navigating the complex internal landscapes of others. This event invites you to step out of the consultation chair and into the studio. Through the rhythmic process of working with clay, we will explore the core concepts of IFS:
- Centering in Self: Center yourself...center your clay...both are tricky until you know how.
- Meeting Your Parts: Recognizing the "Protectors" that show up when we try something new or messy.
- The Art of Process: Exploring how the "Molding and Firing" of clay mirrors the internal unburdening and integration of our own systems.
What to Expect
Whether you are an IFS expert or simply curious about the model, this afternoon offers a low-pressure environment to learn and create. Megan, Amanda, and I will guide the group through a collaborative introduction to "parts work" while we get our hands dirty and create something tangible to take home.
Who: Mental health professionals and clinicians who are work with:
Blue Cross Blue Shield, Molina, PEHP, or University of Utah
What: Guided pottery session + IFS clinical introduction.
Space is limited to ensure an intimate, collaborative environment.
