This class is designed to help partners (*and partners ONLY) prepare to support during labor, birth and the immediate postpartum time

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital

This class is designed to be taken after completing a regular childbirth education class (or during a childbirth class series) and does not replace that class or a newborn care class. This class is specifically designed to prepare support people through the unique experience of becoming a parent.The objectives of this class are:<ul><li>Set realistic expectations of what the transition to parenthood can look like (emotional, physical, relational)</li><li>Create a toolkit for supporting their partner through labor</li><li>Create a toolkit for supporting their partner through postpartum</li><li>Leave with a list of resources (books, articles, podcasts, and in person options)</li></ul>So come join us and feel more ready for this big life transition!*Note: this class is not for pregnant parents or grandparents, just partners/support
