Partner Prep Class

This class is designed to help partners (*and partners ONLY) prepare to support during labor, birth and the immediate postpartum time

This class is designed to be taken after completing a regular childbirth education class (or during a childbirth class series) and does not replace that class or a newborn care class. This class is specifically designed to prepare support people through the unique experience of becoming a parent.

The objectives of this class are:

• Set realistic expectations of what the transition to parenthood can look like (emotional, physical, relational)
• Create a toolkit for supporting their partner through labor
• Create a toolkit for supporting their partner through postpartum
• Leave with a list of resources (books, articles, podcasts, and in person options)
