This meeting will be held in person and there is also a Zoom component to it. Attendees will be able to choose, when they register, which one they will attend. Attendees will be send the zoom link the day prior to the meeting.

To attend the meeting in-person, the venue is Sinclair Community College, Building 14, Room 101. Parking is available for free in the Student Garage or there is metered parking along the streets.

The purpose of this presentation is to review the fundamental concepts of why building codes exist, describe what the code requires to be included on the construction documents and changes to Chapter 1 of the Ohio Building Code. Following the lecture on chapter 1, a roundtable discussion with plans examiners & building officials will take place.
