On May 24, 2016, NYC Parks, the Center for New York City Affairs, and the Tishman Environment and Design Center at The New School will bring together thought leaders from a range of disciplines to explore the future of parks and public space. 
Through panels, workshops, and engaging keynotes, we will explore innovative design, equity, public engagement, resiliency, ecological and landscape connectivity, and more.

Charles Birnbaum, President and CEO, The Cultural Landscape Foundation
Paul Goldberger, Joseph Urban Chair in Design and Architecture, The New School 
Fred Kent, Founder and President, Project for Public Spaces
Mike Lydon, Principal, Street Plans
Signe Nielsen, FASLA, Principal, Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects
Mitchell Silver, FAICP, Commissioner, NYC Parks

The summit is being planned by NYC Parks and The New School, and is presented by The J.M. Kaplan Fund and by The JPB Foundation, with additional support from The Tiffany &amp; Co. Foundation, Citi, the Mayor’s Fund for New York City, and AT&T.
