Last year, we successfully launched the very first permanent parklet in Nashville as part of the new Parklet Permit Program through the Nashville Department of Transportation (NDOT). It was such a success that we felt compelled to continue the Parklet Design Competition as an extension of PARK(ing) Day Nashville.

We are so excited to partner with NDOT again to reclaim more public space in an imaginative way. This wouldn't be possible without our 2024 Construction Partner, Hardaway Construction. The Bagelshop has agreed to be our next steward for reclaiming public space, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for the Donelson community.
