Parking reservations are required on all days that we are open (Wednesday-Sunday).

Guests can visit without a parking reservation from 3-5pm.

Reservations are available four weeks in advance.

If you need to cancel your reservation, refer to your Eventbrite confirmation email and select "view or manage order" to cancel. If you are unable to cancel it yourself, please email chanticleer@chanticleergarden.org and we will cancel it for you.

Purchase admission tickets and season passes online at Chanticleer's website, or when you arrive at the garden. Admission tickets are not assigned to a day and time, they can be used whenever the garden is open.

Visitor Etiquette

  • Walk only on paths and lawns.
  • Leave the plants and animals as they are. Please do not feed the fish.
  • Keep the garden smoke-free.
  • Use our designated picnic areas, unless you are visiting Friday evenings 4-8pm.
  • Carry out what you bring in and do not leave belongings unattended.
  • Sports activities, pets, and loud sounds belong elsewhere.
  • Please keep your children in sight.
  • Professional and commercial photography is not permitted.

Chanticleer welcomes picnicking in our four picnic areas located within the garden. We ask guests carry out what they bring in and not leave picnic items unattended.

What is a parking reservation?

Parking reservations offer reserved times to enjoy Chanticleer. With a parking reservation a pre-established number of guests enter during each interval, allowing guests to ensure there is a parking space for them when they arrive. Parking reservations are required for admission.

Do I need to print my parking reservation?

No, please provide the name the reservation was made under to our parking attendant when you arrive. Or, refer to the QR code found on your Eventbrite confirmation email and display that on your device when you arrive.

I am a season pass holder. Do I need to make a parking reservation?

Yes, Season Pass holders need to make a parking reservation each time they visit.

Do I still need to buy an admission ticket if I have a parking reservation?

Yes, you will need admission tickets for each person in your vehicle, or a Season Pass that covers that number. You can purchase admission tickets on Chanticleer’s website or when you arrive at the garden, at the front desk.

I require an accessible (handicapped) parking space, do I still need a parking reservation?

Yes, every visitor arriving by personal vehicle needs to make a parking reservation. Accessible parking spaces (handicapped spaces) are available.

I am arriving by rideshare or taxi, is that permitted?

Yes, those not arriving by personal vehicle do not need to make a parking reservation.

What if we arrive late, after our entry time?

Please plan to enter at your scheduled time. If you arrive within fifteen minutes of your scheduled time you will be able to park immediately. We will make every effort to accommodate late (or early) arrivals, but we cannot guarantee a parking space.

Will we have to leave at a specified time?

No, parking reservations apply to entrance times only. You are welcome to stay as long as you would like.

Will season passes and tickets be sold onsite or online?

Season passes and admission tickets can be purchased online or at the front desk, when you arrive.

I bought an admission ticket online; can I use that anytime I want to visit?

Yes, you may use admission tickets on any day that Chanticleer is open. Advanced parking reservations are required. All guests must make a parking reservation if they plan to arrive by personal vehicle.
