Park Equity Summit

Our mission is to contribute to the equity and well-being of our neighborhoods through the development of parks, gardens, and community-driven organizing. Since 2002, the Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust has transformed the lives of over 500,000 Angelenos who live within a half-mile of one of our 30 parks and gardens. By supporting our annual Garden Party, you will assist the Neighborhood Land Trust in raising critical funds to reach thousands more LA residents who deserve equitable access to greenspace.

<DIV>We're thrilled to announce our keynote speaker Jayne Miller, Superintendent of the <A HREF="https://www.minneapolisparks.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board</A>. Under Superintendent Miller’s leadership, Minneapolis has implemented groundbreaking park equity initiatives including the <A HREF="https://www.minneapolisparks.org/about_us/budget__financial/20-year_neighborhood_park_plan/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">20-Year Neighborhood Park Plan</A>, which prioritizes investments in neighborhood parks according to racial and economic equity metrics. We're honored to have Jayne Miller share with us Minneapolis’ trailblazing experience developing and implementing park equity policies!</DIV>
