Park Bathing

Inspired by the Japanese concept of forest bathing, Park Bathing is a site-specific dance performance by Donna Sternberg & Dancers set in the natural landscape of Kings Road Park.

Audiences follow the dancers through different areas of the park as the performance unfolds, reflecting the changing environment and opening up new ways of seeing urban nature.

This is not your typical dance performance; it is an immersive, participatory experience. At key moments throughout the show, audience members are invited to deepen their own connection to nature through guided breathwork and simple movement prompts, making each person an active part of the work itself.
