Are you in a season of change as a parent? Whether your child has graduated high school and is moving away or if they are leaving junior high and heading to high school, change is inevitable. Growth in your relationship with your child is not. It is dependent upon how you move during these times of transition.

Some truths are from my own 26 years in education (19 of those as a parent myself) and some are straight from the mouths of babes who very openly shared with me how their parents helped them grow during times of transition and also how they made it harder.
I come to you as one of you as my son is a sophomore in college. I don't believe it's ever my job to "let go." I believe it's my job to readjust my grip.
