Join us to learn strategies to address antisemitism & intolerance and to foster truly inclusive communities in DMV educational spaces.

With the recent, unprecedented rise in antisemitism, especially in educational spaces, we invite parents and caregivers to join American Jewish Committee (AJC) Washington, D.C., the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) Washington, DC, and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington (JCRC) for our 2025 Parent Summit. Learn vital and valuable advocacy skills and proactive strategies to navigate and combat antisemitism in K-12 schools.Featuring panel discussions and breakout discussion sessions focused on:<ul><li>The state of antisemitism in our educational institutions nationally and locally</li><li>Dr. Michelle Reid, Fairfax County Public School Superintendent; Dr. Robert (Robby) Dodd, former Walt Whitman High School Principal and current Director in MCPS’s Office of School Support and Well-Being, and Marlo Thomas, Assistant Head of School at Georgetown Day School sharing best practices for preventing and addressing antisemitism in their educational institutions</li><li>Concrete steps to take when there is an incident in your child's school</li><li>How to have a conversation with your child about antisemitism</li><li>Legal resources and when to pursue them</li><li>Parents and students sharing proactive ways to advocate against antisemitism and positive ways to help increase cultural competency around Judaism and the Jewish experience</li></ul>For security reasons, location in Montgomery County, Maryland to be shared prior to event.Parent Summit proudly presented with support from The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington.
