Will I be able to ask individual questions specific to my student?

During these sessions, we welcome general questions. However, questions that are very specific to your individual student's situation will not be discussed. We will provide all attendees with specific contact information so that you can set up an appointment to discuss any individual concerns.

Am I able to gain access to my student's personal information and file?

In order to gain access to your student's records the student will have to give you written consent by signing a FERPA Release Form in advance. The FERPA Release Form can be found here: https://paulquinn.edu/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/FERPA-Release-Form-rev-2-2023.pdf

What kind of information will be discussed?

Each month will cover a different topic. Currently, we have sessions slated to discuss academic advising, financial aid, and the work program. These three areas cover some of the most important information you should know as a parent/guardian that wishes to best support their student.
