Join Celebrity Pastry Chef Dawn of Ravy Cakes for a fun and magical Parent and Me Princess Themed cake decorating class. Step into a fairytale world of frosting, sprinkles, and sweet memories in our magical Parent & Me Princess Cake Decorating Class!

Designed for children ages 4–10 and their favorite grown-up, this enchanting workshop is perfect for anyone who dreams in pink and loves a little fun and sparkle.

Together, you’ll decorate your very own princess cakes using colorful buttercream, edible glitter, fondant tiaras, and more. No experience needed—just a love for creativity and quality time! Chef Dawn will guide you step by step through the decorating process, turning the cake into a royal masterpiece. The teams will receive one crumb coated cake to decorate and will learn how to apply the final buttercream, buttercream piping techniques, how to decorate the tiara, plus more!

You will receive a cake box to take your cakes home. All cake decorating tools are provided to use during class.

Meet Your Instructor:

Dawn Alston of Ravy Cakes, a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native, grew up in Northern Virginia where she started baking at the age of six. Dawn holds an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and has competed in many local baking events and in 2018 she competed on Food Network’s Wedding Cake Championship. All The Details:

• Age Level: 4+ with a parent/adult
• Skill Level: Beginner
• Each ticket includes 1 adult and 1 child. If you wish to bring more than 1 child to the class, there is an additional charge of $100. Your second child will decorate their own cake and you will take 2 cakes home with you. Please contact Fran's directly to purchase your ticket to ensure we can accommodate an additional child.
• All supplies and tools are provided for use during class.
• We will provide a box for each team to take your cake home in
• The class may be a little messy so we recommend bringing an apron.
• If you have long hair, you may want to tie it back.
• Class requires a minimum of 2 teams and there is a maximum of 8 teams. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
• Class will run approximately 2.5 hours. Please note that the class is hands-on and may run over or under schedule.

Cancellation Policy:

Changes and cancellations...we know life happens so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
