ParadiseMoves shares stories through movement that inspire conversation.Words are tricky and don't always capture what we truly mean to say, that's why we dance. Using the universal language of movement as a means of storytelling allows our audience tofeel first and think later.You don't have to be a dancer to understand and appreciate ParadiseMoves. We welcome audience members from all walks of life. We embrace inclusiveness and accessibility in ALL art—to share everyone's story. We create work that invites all folks regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, socio-economic status, and national identity into our world.Our unique choreographic style fuses acting and dance techniques and values honesty and collaboration above all else. We aim to provoke thought, discover meaning, and cultivate empathy. We share stories that inspire change, ask difficult questions, and give voice to those who need to be heard.Our work creates conversations within communities; we aim to share and not to tell.So, come with us and move and be moved!

ParadiseMoves

This is not your average dance show. In fact, it’s like nothing you’ve ever experienced before! Scored with original music, Enough perfectly captures Paradise Lost’s unique blend of dance and theatre, and invites audiences to dive deep into the world that Paradise Lost has created.  
Originally scored and performed in Paradise Lost’s inaugural season by Artistic Director Tyler Catanella, the remounting of this piece is inspired by the tragedy of the Pulse Nightclub shootings and troubling national climate surrounding LGBTQ issues. 
Enough bravely tackles topics surrounding identity and mental health among youth through both performance (Act I) and facilitated discussion that connects audience members with each other (Act II). With the perfect combination of humor and honesty, Enough is an experience that asks audiences to look within themselves and ask the question: “What does it mean to be enough?” Good enough, smart enough, strong enough, not enough, just enough, more than enough.  
Tickets available at the door (if still available): $10 students K-12, $18 adult
