What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Tickets are non-refundable. You may have someone else come in your place as a substitution or take a payment credit towards the next NMAEYC event. Please contact the coordinator, Michelle at michelle@nmaeyc.org to request either a substitute or payment credit.

Question 2

Will I receive educational CEUs for attending Para los Ninos?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you will receive 6 CEUs for attending all sessions, which includes the keynote (2 CEUs), a morning sessions (2 CEUs), and an afternoon session (2 CEUs).

Question 3

Will I get all the CEUs if I leave early?

Accepted Answer

No, you will only receive credit for the sessions you attend.

Question 4

Will there be social work CEUs at this regional conference?

Accepted Answer

No, this is an educational regional conference only. You will only receive educational CEUs.

Question 5

What happens if I lose my CEU certificate? Can it be replaced?

Accepted Answer

Since this is a ticketed event that you must scan into, your attendance can be verified. If the system shows that you attended Para los Ninos and you lost your certificate it can be replaced upon request. We prefer that you keep your certificate in a safe place so you do not lose it.

Is there a code of conduct?

Yes, NMAEYC has a code of conduct that must be followed at all of their events. Please refer to NMAEYC Policies & Guidelines page for the Code of Conduct by going to https://www.nmaeyc.org/guidelines/

Question 7

What happens if I break the Code of Conduct?

Accepted Answer

We take safety seriously. Any participant or attendee found breaking the code of conduct will be asked to leave. A refund will not be issued, nor a payment credit. If you refuse to leave security will be called and you will not be invited to future NMAEYC events.

Question 8

Are children allowed at the PLI?

Accepted Answer

NMAEYC conferences are a place of learning. We ask that you do not bring your children as we do not have childcare providers while you are in session. We do understand if you need to bring a newborn with you for feedings. Please reach out to michelle@nmaeyc.org for questions.

Question 9

Can I bring my service dog?

Accepted Answer

Yes, service dogs are always welcome. Please pick up after your service dog as you would a pet.
