About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

On July 4th, 1776 the Second Continental Congress unanimously adopted the Declaration of Independence, announcing the colonies' separation from Great Britain. Even though the Tea Tax, that ultimately led to (what we now call) the Boston Tea Party 2.5 years prior, was not the only reason we wanted to get out from under the Crown...that protest essentially kick started the Revolution and the birth of our new nation.

Join me in the Historic Bowe House in Tiffin, Ohio for a Historical Tea Party to celebrate our Birthday & learn a thing or two about life at this time.

ALL INCLUSIVE | $30 per person

  • Colonial Tea Time Setting & Styles of China
  • Taste the 5 Tea Blends thrown in Boston Harbor
  • Tea Time Etiquette Lesson in Colonial America
  • Caffiene Free & Cocoa options
  • Complimentary Snacks & Treats
  • Optional Colonial Dress/Outfit Contest
  • Prizes & Party Favors
  • Each Lady in attendance will receive a Feather to adorn their hair! Just like Colonial Ladies did!

Sunday July 7th

Doors open at 3pm

I have created a sort of guide to my parties on my website so people know what to expect. Please review it HERE

  • You do not have to print off tickets.
  • Please be sure to fill out all of your information when purchasing a ticket so I have you on the guest list.
  • Refunds are only available up to 24 hours before the start of the party.
  • Anyone under the age of 12 must have an adult with their own ticket accompanying them.
  • Each person in attendance must have a ticket just like at a concert, movie, etc. The only exception is a baby/infant sitting in someone's lap.

Lastly, if you have not experienced one of my tea parties yet please keep in mind that I am not a restaurant and so I do not operate as a restaurant. I provide an experience in the form of a party/event.
