The Art & History Museums of Maitland (A&H) is a premier cultural destination and community gathering place in Central Florida, about 15 minutes from downtown Orlando. A&H is a group of sophisticated attractions that includes a contemporary art museum, 3 interactive history museums, and a stunning campus recognized as Greater Orlando's only National Historic Landmark. A&H also features a community art school nestled among its beautiful gardens and unique architecture. Founded in 1937 as an artists’ retreat, our space still fulfills this mission today with multiple artist residencies serving both local and international artists. A&H provides the Central Florida community with many activities every month, including free family programming, affordable site tours, and free presentations on art and history from visiting experts. Art Workshops

Drawing, bookmaking, printmaking, textiles, & more! No matter your skill level, our expert instructors will guide you to new heights of creative accomplishment with these 1 to 3- day workshops.

Instructor: Ryan Price Cost: $80 + $20 material fees. Materials fees must be paid in cash directly to the instructor, and are due on the day of the workshop.Participants will cut out images and create negatives and stencils using cardstock paper to create original prints. Participants will arrange the stencils and plan for what they would like to create as a print. Participants will also be using squeegee brushes to print the stencils onto paper and create images. This workshop gives an understanding of how to use a positive or a negative imagery when composing or engaging with printmaking.O﻿pen to all levels!
