Join instructor Lea Freni at The Uproot Pie Co & Carriage House to learn the mesmerising art of paper marbling!

Marbling is the timeless art of floating and manipulating paint on water to create one-of-a-klind prints. In this fun and interactive workshop, we will explore a varitety of marbling techniques to create original designs and color combinations.

Participants will leave with a range of original marbled papers which are art pieces in their own right, but also perfect for crafting & card making.

No experience necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and we'll provide all the materials & guidance you need.


In this course we will cover:

A brief history of marbling

Basic color theory

Demonstration & exploration of marbling techniques


Ages 12+

Art is messy, please dress accordingly!

About the instructor:

Lea Freni is a Midcoast Maine-based designer and artist with a decade of experience in the fashion industry. Freni is passionate about art education and exploring surface design techniques with creatives of all ages and skill levels
