Celebrate tradition and creativity at SCRAP’s Día de Los Muertos Workshop on Sunday, October 19 in the Crab Wheel Plaza. Learn about the meaning and artistry behind Papel Picado, the intricate Mexican art of paper cutting used to decorate altars and festivities honoring loved ones who have passed. Participants will create their own colorful paper designs while exploring the cultural significance of this beautiful craft. Two sessions will be offered: 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 12:30–1:30 p.m. All materials are provided, and sign-up is free. RSVP required on Eventbrite!
