Panel Discussion: Engineering Art
October 22, 2019 | Tuesday 6:30pm at PCNW
FREE with RSVP

Please join us for a lively discussion on how photography software, online learning, and new technologies have affected the creative process and output. As part of our fall exhibition, Innovation at the Intersection of Science, Technology, and Photography, we'll look at the evolution of photography and how new trends on the horizon might impact the future. Panelist include Bill Hensler, co-founder of Pixvana, former CTO of Creative Suites at Adobe, and magician; Frits Habermann, CEO of PicMonkey, former CTO of lynda.com, and photographer; Laura Hart Newlon, an interdisciplinary artist working primarily in photography, writing, and sculpture and Associate Professor of Art at Cornish College of the Arts; and Phillip Carpenter and Jose Pacio, the artists behind the experimental VR/AR piece in PCNW's current exhibition.
