NYDIS is a 501(c)(3) faith-based federation of service providers and charitable organizations who work in partnership to provide disaster readiness, response, and recovery services to New York City. Our mission is to inspire, connect and provide resources for New York City faith communities serving in disaster to create an urban environment of social justice for all.

New York Disaster Interfaith Services (NYDIS)

Congregations will discuss their plans in response to a COVID-19 Pandemic Scenario, and share creative solutions and best practices.

Free 2-hour Pandemic Virtual Exercise for congregations to discuss their reopen plans using a pandemic scenario. This exercise is specifically designed to troubleshoot and find solutions for the unique obstacles facing congregations to reopen during a pandemic.Photo Release: When you attend a NYDIS event, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. Events are typically open to the press, unless clients are in attendance. By entering, you consent to such recording media and its release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, webcasts, social media or other promotional outlets.
