About this event

The classes focus on developing basic soccer skills and socializing in a safe, fun, pressure free environment. Instructed by professional XL soccer coach.

New XL Soccer Season will begin Saturday, October 28th. Seasons are 7 weeks.

Location: XL Soccer World Lake Nona, 12314 Suttner Ave, Orlando, FL, 32827

Weekly sessions on Saturday: 11am-12pm (Ages 8-13)

Criteria: PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD MEETS THIS CRITERIA TO PARTICIPATE

  • Your child can listen, learn and follow through with directions, rules and then apply them.
  • Your child can pay attention during training, wait his/her turn and comprehend basic rules of the games.
  • Your child can run the field for the majority of the hour and stay within the momentum of the game. (We realize not everyone starts out with this full ability).
  • Your child can change directions while running and understand left/right direction along with forward/backward.
  • Your child can get through practice/game with limited redirection.
  • Your child can respond positively to coaching, as well as instructions and guidance from teammates.
  • Your child has functional communication skills.
  • Your child does not have physical or verbal aggressive behavior and is in a good state of mind.

If a participant requires high support to be successful in the program he/she may be released from this program and possibly be suggested to be a candidate for another program.

All participants must have completed a UCF Youth Protection Participation form with PALS. If you have not completed one in the last year please email info@pals-ucfcard.org
