Palms in Central Florida

Palms are common in the Florida landscape. Selecting palm varieties which tolerate Central Florida's cool winter temperatures is critical. Some basic palm botany and characteristics of palms will be discussed along with nutrient needs, proper pruning and management of this unique plant.
