Emergency Medical Minute is a team comprised of physicians, pharmacists, nurses, scribes, and medical students who are passionate about spreading free medical education and positively impacting our community. We began six years ago at Swedish Medical Center and have expanded since, with more than 3.5 million all time podcast downloads in all fifty states and 174 countries. We promote medical education through podcasts, events, and philanthropy.

Emergency Medical Minute hosts engaging social and educational events for healthcare professionals and the surrounding community while enhancing skills and knowledge through fun, interactive experiences.

Emergency Medical Minute is proud to partner with the Section of Palliative Medicine at Children&#x27;s Hospital Colorado to host Palliative, a powerful event exploring the world of end-of-life care. During this educational event, we will hear from our Keynote Speaker, Dr. Nadia Tremonti, a pediatric palliative care physician. We will engage in discussions with an interdisciplinary Q&amp;A panel composed of members from pediatric palliative care teams in Colorado to learn how they emphasize quality of life in children with life-limiting illnesses. This powerful and educational event includes the screening of the short film, Palliative, which won the 2019 Denver Film Festival Award for best short documentary. All proceeds from this event will go towards non-profits including the Denver Hospice&#x27;s Footprints Program, Dr. Tremonti&#x27;s annual Princess and Superhero Party for pediatric hospice, and Emergency Medical Minute. The evening will kick off with mingling, some light appetizers catered by Sexy Pizza, and soft drinks before the film screening as a well as a cash bar with beers and hard seltzers available for purchase. There will be a short intermission following the screening before the keynote address and Q&amp;A panel discussion. We&#x27;re so excited for this opportunity to congregate with everyone again for a night of education and exploration into such an important topic.
