Overview

Pallet Brewing Company mixes up some of New York's best comics with Maplewood's best beer.

Pallet Comedy is a stand up comedy series hosted by Joe Larson (America's Got Talent) and David Drake (Comedy Central) featuring some of the best comics out of NYC. Admission includes one free beer. This month's line up features:


SEAN PATTON

Sean is a comedian based in New York, by way of New Orleans. He began doing stand-up in the Crescent City and has since performed in comedy clubs and festivals across the world, including The Melbourne International Comedy Festival (2011, 2018), The Glasgow Comedy fest (2016), the Dublin Comedy fest (2017), and The Edinburgh Fringe (2017, 2019). Other festivals appearances include SXSW (2016, 2017, 2018, 2022), The Moontower comedy festival (2012, 2013, 2014, 2019), Just for Laughs Chicago (2013), Just for Laughs Toronto (2013) and Just for Laughs Montreal (2008, 2010, 2012, 2016, 2018). He's performed on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham (2009), Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (2010), Conan (2011, 2013), and Comedy Central’s The Half Hour (2013). More recently, He's been on @midnight (2014, 2015), The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail (2015), This Is Not Happening (2015, 2017, 2019), Showtime's Live from SXSW (2017), TruTv's Comedy Knockout (2016, 2017, 2018), and This week at the Comedy Cellar (2018, 2019, 2020).

In 2019 he released his second album Scuttlebutt on Helium Records. His next album King Scorpio was released on Christmas Eve 2021 and as a special on Youtube in August 2022. His special Number One streamed on peacock from 2022-2024 and is currently available on 800lb Gorilla’s YouTube page.

As for acting, He's appeared on IFC'S Maron, TruTV's Those who can't, and both seasons of FX’s English Teacher. He more recently appeared in season 5 of HBO’s Hacks.


BRITTANY CARNEY

Brittany is a comedian, actor, and writer based in New York City. She began standup comedy in DC, and tours nationally. Vulture Magazine has listed Brittany as a Comedian You Should and Will Know. Brittany’s debut special, That Is My Horse, is available on Youtube. Brittany was Ars Nova Vision Resident for the 2024-2025 season. Her acting appearances include HBO’s Fantasmas (2024) and That Damn Michael Che (2022). Brittany has opened for Gary Gulman, Stavros Halkias, Moshe Kasher, and Todd Barry. Brittany’s staff writing experience includes Season 2 of That Damn Michael Che on HBO Max, Season 2 of Teenage Euthenasia on Adult Swim, and Networking for Introverts on Audible. Her Comedy Central: Featuring set aired in February, 2021 and is available here. Her Don’t Tell set, filmed August 2023, is available here.


DAVID DRAKE

David has been featured on Comedy Central, HBO, Sirius XM, Cracked, Don’t Tell, and Fox. He was named one of Complex Magazine’s ‘Comics to Watch Under 30’ and one of New York Comedy Festival’s ‘Comics to Watch’. He is a producer of the long-standing New York showcase Comedians You Should Know NYC and a regular at the world famous Comedy Cellar. With six stand-up albums and three specials under his belt, including the critically acclaimed Big Break , David delivers comedy that’s “smart and engaging” (The New York Times) and “endlessly watchable” (Humorism).


JOE LARSON

Joe has also been seen on Gotham Comedy Live, NBC’s America’s Got Talent, Laughs on FOX, the Tonight Show’s Laugh Squad and the Speed Channel. On radio he is a repeat guest on Bob and Tom and the Bennington Show.

Pallet Brewing Company is about the beer, but it’s also about creating a sense of place. The brewery’s taproom serves as a cornerstone in our local community, and we see it as both a respite from the flurry of day-to-day life and a gathering place for friends and family.
