About this event

In this workshop we are going to paint! It's an introduction to painting for those who have never done this before or also an excersice if you have some experience and want to ´practise. First we'll see different tips to make a painting from scratch if you are a complete beginner. We'll "prepare" some paint (colors), use the brushes you have, do a sketch on your paper/canvass and then PAINT! We'll be looking into the action of painting, see what comes out, try our tools and materials in differetns to apply them. The final result will not be of so much importance but the fact of using paint and enjoying that.

You´ll need some water based paint like acrylics or preferably gouache (témperas). We will paint using the colors you have. After buying your ticket you will receive an email with a list of possible materials you'll need to have on hand or in case you need to buy, to be able to paint.

In case you cannot get your ticket, please contact me telling me what is going on. You pay directly through PayPal; please send me an email if you have any question and so I can send you the list of possible materials needed.

I make art classes (drawing, sketching and painting, collage...) mostly for beginners and anyone who wants to learn different ways of drawing and painting, since there isn't only one way to do things in life. You can open your camera and microphone and participate, share what you are doing and receive some feedback if you want.
My main goal is that you enjoy drawing and painting during the sessions, and obviously that you learn something new each time!


IMPORTANT: It's rare that I cancel a class, but if I ever have do it for something like electricity / internet signal outage, health related or beyond my control, I will send you an email telling you, then later we'll arrange a new schedule that is possible to you.

Do I need to know how to draw or paint?

Not necessarily. You can be a complete beginner. If you are more experienced, you can also try the activities and work with the prompts at your own level.

What happens if I cannot get a ticket?

Contact me. See my profile or through my social media and tell me what is going on. You can register directly on Zoom and use PayPal (when it's a paid class)

How much should I pay?

Some workshops have fixed prices. When a session is on donation you can pay what you honestly think of as a fair price for my class. I'm a trained visual arts teacher willing to help you learn each time.

I'm doing a series of Drawing and Painting Classes on Zoom which I call WAYS TO DRAW AND PAINT - WTDP - , with diverse subjects as still lifes, landscapes, animals, portraits and the whole human figure and also we work with different materials (graphite, charcoal, watercolors, colored pencils, pastels, tempera-gouache, oil, acrylics, collage and more.
