For Ages 18+ – Get introduced to the fundamental techniques of painting with acrylic and oil, if preferred. Get introduced to the fundamental techniques of painting with acrylic and oil. This class offers experience in painting techniques and concept development. Contemporary methods and artists will be explored with a deeper emphasis on color, composition, space, and texture. Learn about the works of artists such as Julie Mehretu, Amy Sherald, David Hockney, Lucien Freud, Mark Bradford, and more, as you create your own unique pieces. You will not be required to bring supplies to the first class meeting. Recommended supply lists will be reviewed and distributed in the first class meeting.

  • $415/Student (tuition covers all meetings)
