About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

We have been hosting Goat Experiences here in the Lowcountry since 2018 at our urban farm in Summerville. Our goats are very friendly and social, but they have been wanting to dip their hooves into something new...why not paint?

Now lets be frank, the goats will not be painting, but they will probably "try" and assist! Our goats are curious and very cuddly, so they are the perfect assistants to make you smile and inspire your inner "Vincent Van Goat"!

We have partnered with local pottery painting studio, Pepper Jack Pottery, who will lead the class to guide you while you paint your pottery, but the colors and creativity are really up to you! This is where the goats come in to assist and inspire you too! You goat it now?! ;

The class will take place outdoors in the grassy backyard of our 1870's farmhouse & farm stay overlooking the urban farm & animals. The goats and our other animals will roam freely and come visit you while painting. The tables will be set up with all supplies needed for you to paint, which will be fired and able to pickup from the studio in about 10 days. We will NOT be providing drinks, BYOB only. We will provide drinking cups though.

Goats HATE rain so in the event it should rain we will either reschedule or refund. We also post weather related updates on our social media stories.

*IMPORTANT: PARKING is limited here at "Flowertown Charm" and is designated for overnight staying guests. Please ONLY park at the neighboring church in the basketball court parking lot at 255 Stallsville (Loop) Rd and walk to our farmhouse on 225 Stallsville (Corner of Stallsville & Long Needle Lane). DO NOT park the the endodontics buidling or church main lot, they tow. We are a Historic White House with Red shutters and Black Fountain with a white Goat Sign out front. Use the white gates on the left side of the house with the farm sign to enter the farm yard. Please close and latch gates behind you.
