About this event

Holiday • Christmas

Join the museum for our next installment of our new paint and sip program, this time featuring our state tree: the pine tree! Instructor Teedgra Carter will guide you through painting a scene featuring our state tree, letting you decide how to finalize your painting. Celebrate a December holiday, winter solstice, or simply the beauty that is our state tree! You’ll also learn how the pine came to be our state tree, as well as some history about how North Carolina became one of the nation’s leading Christmas tree suppliers! Simply grab your favorite libation from Hartwell Raleigh’s bartenders, then head on over to the space for class.

Speaker bio: Teedgra Carter, owner of Art Time Studio, is passionate about inspiring creativity. She loves helping all ages explore painting, drawing, and more in a fun, welcoming environment!
