Join Wayne Thibaudeau, Managing Partner of the Pa’ia Sugar Mill, for a virtual ‘Talk Story’ with a special guest and Pa’ia Community Member Aunty Mopsy Aarona.
Aunty Mopsy Aarona and her family have lived in Pa'ia for over four generations. She is a part of the Pa'ia Town Association to "voice the concerns of long-time Pa'ia ohana whose genealogies are rooted in Pa'ia and Hamakuapoko." She continues to advocate and defend her kuleana of her ohana in Pa'ia Town.
She and Wayne will discuss the innovative legacy of the Pa’ia Mill, Pa’ia’s rich history, the future of the Pa'ia Sugar Mill as a manufacturing hub, and how the community can get involved to make the Pa’ia Sugar Mill “a place to live, walk, work, learn.”
