Frequently asked questions
Paid tickets: We provide all the equipment needed for you to get safely on the water including vessel, paddle, and life jacket with whistle. If you sign up under the free Bring Your Own Vessel option, you must bring all the necessary equipment to legally get you on the water.
Dress appropriately for the weather. We recommend moisture wicking clothing. If you fall in they dry faster and don't retain water like cotton clothing. You can wear a bathing suit, sun shirt, leggings, etc. You may need to layer in the cooler months to stay comfortable.
Mist people who paddleboard do not wear shoes, however, water shoes are fine if you so desire. People who kayak typically wear water shoes or go barefoot. Flip flops and slides are not recommended, especially on paddleboards.
it is recommended you bring a change of clothes, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. If you bring expensive sunglasses please make sure you have them securely attached with a strap so you don't lose them if you fall in. Please note, you may get sunburned in the winter here! Please bring water
You can bring your phone but it should be placed in a waterproof case and should float or be securely attached to your body. If it is not secure and falls in the water, it will be gone forever. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items while you are on our tour.
Our tours are two hours long. However, we are never in a hurry and may be on the water a little longer depending on interactions with wildlife along the route.
If we cancel the trip for any reason, we provide a full refund to our guests or offer an alternative date for our tour. If our guests need to cancel, it must be done 24 hours prior to the start of the tour to to receive a refund. Otherwise, guests can reschedule or forfeit the tour cost.
We will provide a brief paddleboard lesson to anyone who needs it. We continue that lesson as we travel along the Intracoastal. Our goal is for you to be successful and enjoy paddleboarding or kayaking and the natural environment around you during the tour.
Yes, we have both kayaks and paddleboards available, however, the amount of kayaks is limited.
