The Pocket is a 75-person venue, nestled within the music hub, 7DrumCity (7DC). Despite its size, The Pocket quickly established a reputation for incredible acoustics, spectacular lighting, and memorable experiences in a warm, cozy environment. The venue actively seeks to provide a platform for musicians of all sizes and genres, acting as a stepping stone for up-and-coming local acts and a welcoming space for touring musicians to share their art. Alongside its diverse live music lineup, The Pocket works closely with 7DrumCity to offer unique music experiences and educational opportunities for musicians and fans alike.

Brought together by our education at GWU, our group has evolved from classmates to a family of musicians. We strive to make the most of every performance, bringing a unique energy into every note, strum, and hit. You’ll want to sing, jump, and dance along to the beat of various vibes and rhythms.
