Pachacuti (Aymara/Quechua): Pacha refers to dimension or plane. -cuti translates to overturning. Pachacuti can refer to revolution, apocalypse or other forms of cataclysmic change. Pachacuti is a Queer/ Trans/ 2-Spirit /Q’iwa/ Q’iwsa/ Quariwarmi gathering space, a container for 2-Spirit/Queer/Trans Andean performance and a fundraiser for @vivir_sabrosa (an aquaculture-based land back project in so-called Perú). It is a visioning space for a future beyond the end of empire, borders, and colonial gender. How many times has the world ended? What care does this ending need?
