Event Details

P4 Developer Day 2016 is a presentation of P4 Language Consortium in collaboaration with a few industry participants. It will be held at Stanford University's Arrillaga Alumni Center, located on campus in Palo Alto.

[ This event is going to happen a day before the P4 Workshop 2016 which is on Tuesday May 24, 2016. To register for the P4 Workshop 2016 please click here. ]

This is a all-day developer focused event with a P4 turotial/deep dive and hands on lab sessions. Not only will you be trained in P4 but you will aslo be exposed to how P4 is mapped to mutiple hardware and software targets and also interesting new P4 applications.

Below is a high-level tentative agenda:

8:00-8:30am: Check-in and Breakfast

 

8:30-8:40am: Welcome Keynote
8:40-8:50am: End-user Intro
8:50-10:50am: Introduction to P4.org and P4 Tutorial.

 

10:50-11:00am: Break

 

11:00-11:30am: Demo of interesting networking features developed in P4

11:30-12:30pm: Mapping P4 to various architectures

 

12:30-1:30pm: Lunch Onsite

 

1:30-5:00pm: P4 hands-on lab sessions

 

5:00-5:15pm: Break

 

5:15-5:45pm: Panel Discussion and Q&A with participants from Industry

5:45-6:00pm: Closing Remarks

 

6:00pm: Social Hour
