Aww, shucks! (Sorry, we couldn’t help it….!) Review and practice the art of shucking oysters, and take a deep dive into the briny world of these beloved bivalves, during the second of three progressive classes taught by the experts behind The Pop-Up Oyster Bar Co. In this second installment of our three-part series, PUOB founder Corey Burleigh and his staff will teach you how to build-own-your-own oyster shooters (concocted from an array of different toppings and spirits); you will enjoy in 12-18 oysters highlighting 4 different oyster species including both raw and grilled preparations as it will be time to fire up the OFYR grill to learn how to grill those Pacific Northwest beauties! At the end of class, you will get to enjoy baked oysters prepared in our own wood-fired oven as part of a seafood-inspired lunch. Lunch will also feature pan-fried oyster sliders and a wealth of seasonally-inspired sides using ingredients sourced from the garden and creamery at Bella Luna Farms.
