Questions and Conclusion

About this event

Some birds use nestboxes (aka bird houses) while others build nests on branches or in the grass. Before installing a birdhouse, you should learn about which species might be looking for some new real estate.

In this workshop, you will learn about "cavity-nesters," the category of bird most likely to move into a birdhouse. You will also learn about their real estate preferences and how to choose a good spot for a birdhouse.

This nestbox should be mounted at your home or that of a friend or family member.

If you intend to place the nestbox on a property you do not own, be sure to get written permission from the property owner.
