About this event

In this needle felting class you'll be learning to sculpt a roly poly owl out of wool! You'll learn how to create a core shape, wrap it with roving, and begin basic needle felting. You'll then learn how to create round shapes for eyes, use a felting stick to make a beak, create wings on the felting foam, and techniques for adding whatever details you'd like. Needle felting is an easy-to-learn technique and is not difficult.Come see what you can create with a needle and some fiber ... good stress relief too!

WHAT IS NEEDLE FELTING?
Needle felting is an easy-to-learn technique that involves lots of poking with a barbed needle (also can be effective stress relief), to shape and sculpt the natural fiber. You'll be surprised at what you can create with a needle, some fiber, and a little imagination!

SKILL LEVEL
This is a beginner's level class.
