Overdose Prevention Training

In-person workshop to teach individuals how to recognize and respond to opioid overdose using Naloxone

This one hour, in-person training will teach individuals how to recognize signs of opioid overdose and respond to the situation, including administering the life-saving medication Naloxone. Naloxone (brand name Narcan) reverses the effects of an opioid overdose and all attendees will leave equipped with an overdose kit that contains either nasal or intramuscular Naloxone.
